Ray was charged for four runs on three hits while not retiring a batter in the eighth inning of Tuesday's 9-3 loss to Philadelphia. Acquired from the Texas Rangers on July 1, Ray has gone 3-0 with a 5.40 earned run average in 20 appearances with the Giants.

Affeldt returns after missing 23 games with a left oblique strain. He was 2-3 with three saves and a 4.11 ERA in 37 games prior to landing on the DL.

Academy Award Betting Odds for Best Picture Offer Great Value

Who is to say independently produced Little Miss Sunshine won't be this year's Crash.  Last year, Crash won for Best Motion Picture, shocking those who bet on gay cowboy flick, Brokeback Mountain, as the favorite to win.
